- Your Responsibilities as a Complex Care Worker
In this vital health and social care role, you will be responsible for providing sophisticated clinical care and daily support. Your key duties will include:
• Delivering high-quality complex clinical care, including
- PEG Feeding and management.
- Tracheostomy Care.
- Ventilator and Bi PAP Management.
- Spinal Injury Support.
- Cough Assist and Oxygen Therapy.
- Supporting clients with daily living skills to promote independence and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate digital care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
- Working collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) to ensure consistent, safe and effective care.
Essential Requirements for this Care Job
To be successful in this support worker role, you will need
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a Complex Care role (with adults or children).
- Proven competency in clinical skills such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and ventilator management.
- Confidence in using digital care planning systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, resilient and professional attitude.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults or Children).
- Current First Aid training
