Marussia Beverages is offering an exciting opportunity for an enterprising Senior Brand Manager to lead an exceptional portfolio of spirit brands for an interim 12 month maternity cover. The successful candidate will join an experienced, highly motivated team and work closely with passionate brand owners from around the world. This role will play a key part in accelerating brand growth and helping the business reach its next stage of development during an ambitious and exciting period of transition.

Senior Brand Manager Role & Candidate Profile
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will bring strong marketing experience and either be operating currently at Senior Brand Manager level or be ready to step up from a Brand Manager role. Experience in customer marketing, combined with strong commercial acumen, will be essential for success in this position.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, self‑motivated marketer with a strong track record of delivering results. We are looking for someone with both strategic thinking and creative flair, who is confident challenging convention and finding innovative ways to grow brands. This role requires ambition, resilience, and a willingness to take ownership. You will be passionate, tenacious, and results-focused, and you will thrive in a highly energetic and fast-moving environment.
Qualifications
- A relevant university degree, ideally in brand management or a related discipline
- At least five years’ marketing experience, ideally within the premium spirits sector
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of brands and developing effective marketing strategies and brand plans in a commercial environment
- Strong leadership skills, with a hands‑on approach to implementing the strategies and activation plans you create
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- An enthusiastic, energetic, and engaging style, with the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Experience working with agency brand owners and senior‑level stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional commercial team
- Excellent analytical and financial skills, including experience managing budgets and P&L responsibility
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- An international mindset, with the ability to work effectively across cultures
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic brand planning, portfolio management, and the marketing mix, ensuring initiatives are profitable, competitive, and aligned with company objectives
- Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including agency brand owners, global marketing teams, the sales team, and key customers
- Collaborate with external agencies and global teams to plan, develop, and deliver best-in-class integrated marketing campaigns across 360‑degree touchpoints, including digital, media, social, PR, exhibitions, events, and on‑ and off‑trade activity
- Monitor brand performance and translate data and insight into strategies and activities that drive long‑term business success
- Stay connected to culture, consumer behaviour, and marketing trends to identify opportunities and drive brand growth
- Own marketing budget management and evaluate the effectiveness of investment and activity
- Champion the brands internally and externally, inspiring colleagues, customers, and partners
Package
- Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
- Bonus: 15%, based on company performance and individual KPIs
- Pension: 6% company contribution
