Stockport (with some travel - UK) | Hybrid working (2 days in office / 3 from home)
We are supporting a global insurance business with the appointment of a Cyber Security Operations Manager into a highly visible leadership role. The focus is on operational leadership, stakeholder management and acting as the face of the Cyber Security Operations function internally.
You’ll lead a team covering vulnerability management, EDR, incident response, phishing, monitoring and wider security operations activity, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business and global technology teams. The environment is fast paced and high pressure, so they are looking for someone already operating at this level who can bring structure, maturity and strong people leadership across a mixed-experience team.

There is also a broader transformation programme underway, including a move from AWS and on-prem into GCP, alongside exposure to global security operations across more than 40 countries.
Key experience required:
- Proven Cyber Security Operations leadership experience
- Experience operating within complex enterprise environments
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
