We’re recruiting a Payroll Systems Tester for a 9-month fixed-term contract to join an established HR Systems team, supporting payroll system changes, enhancements, and key annual activities. This is a hands-on role focused on accuracy, control and compliance within a complex payroll environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and executing payroll test scripts and scenarios
- Testing payroll system changes, patches and enhancements end-to-end
- Supporting Tax Year End and other critical payroll testing cycles
- Documenting outcomes and maintaining clear audit evidence
- Working closely with Payroll, HR and IT teams
- Acting as a point of contact for payroll system and Oracle HR/Payroll queries
What we’re looking for:
- Experience testing payroll systems in complex environments
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and controls
- High attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach
- Comfortable working in test environments and managing defects
