We are supporting a global banking organisation with the appointment of an EMEA Data Domain Lead β Master Reference Data within the EMEA Data Office. This is a highly people-centric, influencing role. It requires someone who can operate confidently at senior level, build strong relationships across the business, and lead change through persuasion rather than authority. You will shape how Master and Reference Data is adopted across EMEA, while representing regional needs into a global data organisation.
The role
- Lead EMEA ownership of Master and Reference Data (legal entity, finance, geography, classifications, currency)
- Act as the primary EMEA interface to the global Master Reference Data function, influencing priorities and outcomes
- Shape and maintain an EMEA adoption roadmap aligned to regulatory, operational and business needs
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define what data is required, why it is needed, and how it should be used
- Lead a small team focused on adoption, technical alignment and architecture
- Support data culture, engagement and data literacy across the business
What we are looking for
- Proven experience leading Master Reference Data in a complex organisation
- Informatica experience
- Strong people leadership, relationship management and influencing capability
- Banking or regulated financial services experience is highly advantageous
- Strong business analysis capability, including requirements definition and translation into data outcomes
- Ability to balance business priorities with technical data considerations
- Experience representing regional interests into global data or technology models
