We are seeking a dedicated chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
Duties:
- Assist in food production
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing and chopping
- Help with basic cooking tasks such as cutting vegetables and meat
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Follow food safety procedures at all times
- Support the kitchen team in various tasks as required
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Basic culinary skills and understanding of kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in food preparation and cooking techniques is desirable
- Capability to take direction from senior chefs and work well within a team
- Supervising skills to oversee junior kitchen staff when required
