We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fabrication company in Marden who are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their close-knit workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a small team, where you’ll be involved in a wide variety of interesting, bespoke projects rather than repetitive production work.
The Role
You’ll be fabricating and welding a range of bespoke stainless steel and structural steel products, including:
- Platforms
- Walkways
- Structural steel fabrications
- Sheet metal fabrications
- One-off and bespoke engineering projects
Working from engineering drawings, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality fabrications from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- MIG welding experience (TIG and stainless steel experience would be advantageous)
- Experience working with structural steel and/or stainless steel
- A high standard of workmanship with excellent attention to detail
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude
