We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our client within the Metal Fabrication department. The MIG Welder will be responsible for setting up and operating metal inert gas (MIG) welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate MIG welding machines and related equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Weld metal components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Perform basic layout and fit-up work
