Join Marton Care Homes – Make A Difference, Every Day

Marton Care Homes is a family‑run care group, built on a foundation of compassion, respect, and a deep commitment to personalised care. Our vision is simple: to create homes where people are treated as individuals, supported with dignity, and empowered to live their best possible life.

At Riverside View, these values are at the heart of everything we do. We’re currently looking for a Team Leader to join a team that truly cares about each other, our residents, and the quality of life we provide.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by:

  • Ensuring the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting or assisting residents with all aspects of daily living.
  • Supporting training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the home, under the supervision of senior staff members.
  • Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs (e.g., physical, emotional, and spiritual). Providing supervision and attention when needed, ensuring residents retain their comfort and dignity.
  • Paying particular attention to assisting residents who have limited mobility, or physical/learning difficulties making the best use of aids provided.
  • Closely monitoring residents who may be confused and/or have behavioural problems.
  • Assisting in the promotion of continence.
  • Assisting in the delivery of care for residents who are dying or who have a progressive illness. Assisting with last offices.
  • Completing, observing, and reviewing care planning needs for residents, and completing written daily records as instructed and in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Assisting in the framework of social activities by interacting with residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the home.
  • Answering the nurse call system, giving assistance as required; answering the door and telephone appropriately, and passing on messages promptly.
  • Reporting on the well‑being of residents and liaising with GPs and support managers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Warm, approachable, and brimming with positivity.
  • Organised, reliable, and confident at leading a team.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and able to motivate others.
  • Passionate about improving the lives of older people.
  • Able to work flexibly across some evenings and weekends.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • NVQ level 3 (or willing to work towards this).

What We Offer

  • A friendly, supportive, and welcoming workplace.
  • Real opportunities for ongoing training and career progression.
  • A chance to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives every day.
  • A valued role within a close‑knit team that cares as much about each other as we do our residents.

If you believe that respect and compassion should be at the heart of care, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help us make a real difference to the lives of residents at Riverside View.
