What will you be doing?
As a Care Team Leader, you'll be a key part of daily life at Westview Lodge, supporting residents while providing guidance and leadership to the care team.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading and supporting the care team during each shift
- Ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times
- Supporting residents with all aspects of daily living where required
- Promoting dignity, independence and choice
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns
- Completing and reviewing care records and care plans accurately
- Supporting residents with physical, emotional and social needs
- Liaising with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies
- Supporting new starters and mentoring less experienced team members
- Encouraging residents to participate in activities, hobbies and daily life within the home
- Responding to emergencies and ensuring residents remain safe and well supported

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within residential, dementia or elderly care
