Martis Search are representing a City of London based International Foreign Bank to hire a permanent “Treasury Operations Assistant” to provide Treasury Administration (Operations) support to the Treasury Operations Team.
This is an entry-level “School-leaver”/”GCSE”, or “A Level leaver” role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has finished school, not decided to go university, but is looking for an opportunity to get your first proper job in The City, into the world of Financial Services. Our client will also look at some-one who has x 1-2-years’ experience in an Administrative role and is looking for their next step in their career.
This is a great opportunity for some-one with 1-2 years administrative experience who is looking for the next step and would like to learn all Financial products such as Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Repos, CDs issuance, Future Contracts, Interest Rate Swaps. On-the job training would be provided, but the chosen incumbent will need to be numerate with good IT skills in Word and Excel as well have a good work ethic and eager to learn.
The role is a mix of hybrid \"working-from-home\" and in the office, but for the initial 1-month of the contract, you will be required to be in the office x 5-days per week to receive full training and onboarding etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above, including Maths & English.
- Takes pride in their work and understands the importance of taking care to ensure work is produced to a high standard.
- Exemplary attitude i.e. works well within a team, inquisitive and self-motivated.
- A good understanding of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
Salary
£25 k pa - £30 k pa dependent upon experience, plus annual discretionary bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
