Within the Risk Management Division, the role involves providing credit analysis for new Structured Finance proposals and existing loans, while performing analysis on macro-economic, industry, and regulatory issues. The position is based in a City of London global Foreign Bank.

The chosen incumbent will:

  • Analyse the creditworthiness of new and existing structured finance deals with transactions proposed by the Front Office, produce review reports, and present them at Credit Committee meetings to Branch management.
  • Analyse the Branch credit portfolio regularly, produce a quarterly portfolio review report, and present these at regular Credit Committee meetings.
  • Analyse industry and macro-economic data related to the Branch credit portfolio and report these in a quarterly portfolio review report.
  • Conduct research on various topics and produce reports on credit issues in the EU area related to the Branch credit portfolio as required.
  • Understand the Bank’s credit risk management systems, especially the Internal Rating System.
  • Check the Front Office’s documentation from a credit risk perspective.
  • Attend meetings for structured finance customers with the Front Office.
  • Arrange both regular and ad-hoc Credit Committee meetings for structured finance business, prepare and circulate agendas, and record proceedings to produce written minutes for circulation.
  • Conduct credit risk management work performed by staff at Risk Management & Control, including monitoring and maintenance of the Branch’s Risk Appetite for structured finance business.
  • Update the Credit Review Procedure Manual related to structured finance business, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory expectations and liaising with authorities if necessary.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus annual discretionary bonus, excellent pension, healthcare, and other related benefits.
