The Role
Infrastructure Support Management Systems Administrator – City of London based global bank. Ongoing temporary role with potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include system testing and support to ensure the bank’s operational systems in a custody environment function correctly after changes. The position is hybrid: employees may work from home up to 8 days within any 4‑week period.
Responsibilities
- Review and understand system change requirements and collaborate with ISM team, business teams and developers for clarification.
- Review and understand business requirements and create detailed test cases/scenarios and a test schedule based on the system change.
- Complete all system testing, document test results and share progress with ISM and key stakeholders. Testing follows standardised processes to ensure solutions meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure all testing is evidence‑based and, if defects or specification changes are identified, discuss them with key stakeholders and update JIRA (centralised logging system for all system change requests).
- Carry out any other duties as requested by the Head of ISM.
Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs at grade C and above, including Maths & English.
- Minimum of one year’s experience of global custody or similar securities processing operations.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel.
- High attention to detail, well‑organised, self‑motivated, and eager to learn; strong team player and ready to assist colleagues.
Reporting Lines
Reports to Infrastructure Support Senior Officer, or in their absence to Infrastructure Support Manager.
Salary
Up to £18 per hour as a flat‑rate including holiday pay.
