Martis Search are representing a City of London based boutique Banking organisation to hire a permanent Credit Analyst for a Credit Risk Management department. This is a broad role which requires someone of a graduate calibre with 3 – 5 years’ relevant working experience in Credit Risk Management within the Project Finance sector.
The position supports Credit Analysis for the Bank’s UK & Irish Project Finance markets covering sectors such as Data Centres, Carbon Capture, Renewables, Project Financing and Schools. Having Credit Analysis experience as a Credit Analyst for Project Finance is mandatory for this role.
The role involves:
- Performing annual and ad-hoc internal credit reviews as well as ESG risk reviews.
- Conducting risk analysis of new business.
- Preparing and reviewing corporate and project ratings.
- Preparing credit analysis in line with counterparty risk.
- Identifying key risks and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Working closely with internal/external contacts as well as auditors.
- Processing waiver requests and loan amendments.
- Monitoring of covenants.
Required Qualifications:
- Financial, Business or Mathematical background.
- Credit experience in Structured Financings.
- Awareness of ESG requirements in real estate.
- Maximum 3-5 years relevant experience in Project Finance.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Financial Modelling.
