Within the Corporate Banking Division, the role involves conducting credit analysis of corporations. The chosen incumbent will work closely with the Relationship Manager to jointly conduct credit reviews for the Corporate Finance business (Syndicated Loans, Bilateral Loans, Private Placements, Private IG Credit, ABL, etc). This involves performing credit analysis on new corporate finance proposals and existing loans, as well as assessing relevant macroeconomic, industry, and regulatory factors related to the transactions and the branch’s credit portfolio.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To analyse the creditworthiness of new and existing corporate finance deals with new transactions, produce review reports and present them at Credit Committee meetings to the Branch management.
  • To analyse the creditworthiness of existing corporate finance and produce internal credit rating review reports.
  • To analyse industry and macro-economic data relating to the Credit Committee and internal rating review.
  • To conduct research on various topics and produce reports of credit issues in the Europe area related to the Branch credit portfolio as and when required on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Perform customer KYC due diligence and report on their quality based on internal policy & procedure, mainly for new onboarding customers.
  • Make remediation of any identified gaps of customer due diligence advised by the Compliance Department including EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence).
  • Assist any other team members’ activities (which should be basic and does not require an advanced decision).

£50,000 pa - £60,000 pa, plus annual discretionary bonus, excellent pension, healthcare and other related benefits.
