The Role

Futures & Options Middle Office Associate (global markets and Trading desks)

Martis Search is representing a global, City of London global Brokerage company to hire a permanent “Futures & Options Middle Office Analyst.”

This is an excellent Futures Operations opportunity, in a fast-paced global Trading environment.

The role reports into their Manager of Futures Middle Office and is looking for someone who has a minimum of 1-year’s Futures & Options Middle Office/ Trade Support experience and is looking an opportunity to continue learning within Futures Operations.

The role is ideally suited to a Middle Office professional with strong technical and derivatives product experience, rather than a Futures Clearing background.

The role will be x 4 days per week in their London office, but the company do offer working-from-home, as well as shift work (please speak to Martis Search for more details).

Our client is a major Futures & Options Clearing Brokerage, Clearing across all International Futures & Options Exchanges and the purpose is to provide operations clearing support for Futures, Options, Equity, Energy, Agricultural & OTC exchanges.

Our client is looking someone with a minimum of x 1-year’s Futures Trade Support experience gained within a reputable Brokerage, or Investment Bank.

The role sits on the trading floor.

Any experience of ATEO (LISA, TEO), as well as Traiana is highly advantageous.

Our client uses integrated versions of AI into their systems.

Having an aptitude such as “Advanced Level Excel”, or VBA is also attract to our client.

The role responsibilities are broad and cover

  • Futures Reconciliations of Trade positions an Trade flows.
  • Futures Trade lifecycle.
  • Futures Confirmations and client statements.
  • Process improvement and projects i. e. automation of trade flows and Reconciliations processes.
  • Trade allocation on ICE, EUREX, CME, CBOT and other Futures Exchanges.
  • P&L Validation.
  • Onboarding of new voice and DMA Execution clients.
  • New Broker set-up assistance
  • Trouble-shooting with external Software providers and building strong working relationships with them.
  • FIX connectivity and Straight Through Processing (STP), including the management and monitoring of electronic trade flows.
