Delivery Driver/Packer

Delivery driver/packer required to join our busy family run bakery.

4.30am start, Monday to Saturday. Generally finish between 9.30 and 12.30 weekdays depending on time of year and finish approx 9am on Saturdays. Previous delivery experience preferred and good knowledge of local area an advantage.

Duties to include:

Picking customer orders of bread and rolls and loading your van before leaving the bakery by 7am.

Delivering customer orders.

Wrapping and packing cakes on your return to the bakery.

Upkeep of the van, ie wash, fuel, tyres etc.

Applicants must be reliable, punctual, friendly and be able to stick to deadlines. Valid driving licence required. Must be over 25 for insurance purposes.

Please be aware that there is a lot of lifting required so applicants should be fit and healthy to manage this role effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 42 per week
