We are searching for the best education professionals for the position of Learning Support Assistant.

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time (32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.15am-3.15pm, 39 weeks per year)

Salary: Grade 5 pay point 7 £18,933 FTE £25,191

Martin High School is an 11 to 16 school in Anstey that is committed to high standards, raising attainment and demanding creative excellence from its staff and pupils. At Martin High School, we are driven to ensure pupil success is at the core of all our work. We provide a vibrant and engaging curriculum which promotes the love of learning and prepares young people for the next steps in their lives.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide support for an individual pupil with an Educational Health Care Plan.
  • To assist the teacher in the delivery of the agreed educational plan.
  • Support learning activities, especially Literacy, Numeracy, Social Skills and emotional health.
  • Be a fully integrated member of the school’s staff team and work to agreed school policies and procedures.
  • Be aware of school and statutory frameworks that directly impact on their own work with pupils.
