A growing privately owned organisation in the East Midlands is seeking a Systems Support Engineer. This role is designed to evolve beyond traditional support, offering a pathway into configuration and automation.
The technology function has expanded significantly and includes machine learning specialists, experienced software developers, and solution architects. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of the business on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front line support across Microsoft cloud applications, including administration, mail services, identity and remote access.
- Perform troubleshooting and user support on the company’s customer relationship management platform.
- Engage in real configuration work, building and maintaining workflows, dashboards, and automations.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding, user accounts and permissions, and general administration of software as a service tools.
- Collaborate with the technical team for escalated issues and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
Candidate Profile:
- Approximately two years of experience supporting Microsoft cloud applications in a business environment.
- Experience administering a customer relationship management system.
- Ability to build workflows or automations and understand their business necessity.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
