Your Mission: Keep Production Running Smoothly As a Shift Electrician, you’ll be the driving force behind our client’s manufacturing plant’s electrical systems. The shift pattern rotates as follows: 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am Your responsibilities will include: · Performing planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on a diverse range of production machinery · Ensuring compliance with statutory and safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards · Troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults across various plant areas · Recording all maintenance activities in our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) The Ideal Candidate: A Well-Rounded Electrical Professional To excel in this role, you’ll need a unique combination of technical expertise and personal attributes: · Completed a recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering · Hands-on experience maintaining/replacing automation control systems (motors, inverter drives, contactors, etc.) · Proficiency in the 17th edition of the BS7671 wiring regulations · Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills · Basic computer skills (PLC programming qualifications in Siemens S5 and S7 are a plus) · Self-motivated, with excellent communication and self-supervision abilities · Manufacturing background Why Join Our Client’s Team?
