Responsibilities
- Ensure operatives are effectively scheduled and appointments are managed efficiently.
- Schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance appointments.
- Allocate work across mobile operative teams.
- Monitor workflow throughout the day and adjust schedules in response to operational changes.
- Coordinate emergency and urgent works.
- Work closely with contract managers, repairs controllers, supervisors, and field‑based operatives.
- Ensure scheduling systems remain accurate and up to date.
- Support operational continuity across live contracts.
- Minimise travel time and ensure materials are available before appointments.
- Maintain organised workflow and productivity.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in repairs and maintenance scheduling, social housing operations, logistics or transport planning, or field service coordination.
- Prior work as a scheduler, repairs planner, workforce planner, service coordinator, logistics coordinator, or operational scheduler.
- Experience within mobile workforce environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the trade or repairs sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Organised, commercially aware, calm under pressure, operationally focused, confident communicator.
- Proactive problem‑solver capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to think ahead, prioritise, and make commercially sensible operational decisions.
