Junior Product Manager – Electronics Salary Β£Very Competitive + Bonus + Benefits Location: Dartford, Kent (Hybrid: 3 days onsite) Sector: Safety Technology | Smart Electronics | Engineering Are you passionate about how technology products work, how they\’re used in the real world, and how they can be improved? This is a career-building role for someone with a strong technical mindset, a problem-solving approach, and a desire to work at the intersection of engineering, customers and product teams. You\’ll join an international leader in safety innovation, helping manage and support a range of hardware and connected systems – including smart DVRs, sensors, cameras, and cloud-linked devices used in fleet safety and logistics. What you\’ll do: Investigate and resolve technical issues with vehicle-mounted safety systems in the field Collaborate with engineering, customer support and installation teams to evaluate product performance Coordinate field trials, installations and product testing activities Document installation procedures, FAQs and manuals with input from subject matter experts Track product updates, log issues and improvements, and support change control Support the Senior Product Manager in all phases of the product lifecycle, including product introductions and product supportAbout You: We\’re looking for someone who has already had exposure to a technical or engineering environment, such as: A graduate in engineering, electronics, or a technology field A time-served apprentice or someone from a technical support, field engineering, or installations background Someone working in product documentation, customer technical support, or QA/testing roles in a manufacturing or tech settingYou\’ll need to demonstrate: Curiosity and passion for how products work and can be improved Strong attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written) Confidence in dealing with customers, installers, engineers and cross-functional teams Familiarity with technical systems such as camera units, sensors, or telematics is helpful but not essentialThis role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to step into a product-focused path – you\’ll gain structured exposure to product development, problem-solving and cross-functional communication in a real-world engineering business.
