This is a role for someone who thrives in a face-to-face, operational environment.\\n\\n* Get exposure to live ER cases, engagement projects, and recruitment campaigns from day one.\\n\\n* Play a key role in shaping culture, coaching line managers, and improving the employee experience.\\n\\nYour Role at a Glance\\n\\nThis position offers hands-on responsibility and breadth across the HR lifecycle. You'll report to a Senior HR Business Partner and serve as a trusted advisor to both corporate and operational managers.\\n\\nDay-to-Day You'll:\\n\\n* Manage ER cases independently-handling absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance and wellbeing cases.\\n\\n* Coordinate and improve recruitment processes-from advertising and screening through to onboarding.\\n\\n* Coach line managers on people practices, policies, and decision-making.\\n\\n* Support internal communications-drafting briefings, engagement bulletins and policy updates.\\n\\n* Analyse HR metrics-including absence trends, recruitment performance, and staff turnover.\\n\\n* Review and enhance HR policies and workflows, with a mindset of continuous improvement.\\n\\n* Contribute to cultural change initiatives, including onboarding enhancements and employee engagement surveys.\\n\\nWhat You'll Bring\\n\\nMust-Have:\\n\\n* CIPD Level 5 or working towards it\\n\\n* 4-5 years' experience in a generalist HR role\\n\\n* Proven track record managing employee relations issues end-to-end\\n\\n* Experience in recruitment coordination or ownership\\n\\n* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills\\n\\n* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and people policies\\n\\n* Confidence to challenge, influence, and coach at all levels\\n\\nNice-to-Have:\\n\\n* Experience with ADP or similar HRIS\\n\\n* Background in operational sectors (e.g., logistics, engineering, manufacturing, or distribution)\\n\\n* Involvement in writing or refining HR policies and internal comms\\n\\n* Familiarity with wellbeing initiatives or culture programmes\\n\\nYou'll be someone who brings emotional intelligence, professionalism, and a solutions-focused approach-balancing structure with warmth and flexibility.\\n\\nPay, Perks & Practical Bits\\n\\n* Salary: £33,000-£35,000 per annum\\n\\n* Location: Coventry (primarily onsite, with 1 day per week hybrid flexibility for project work)\\n\\n* Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday\\n\\nPackage Includes:\\n\\n* 25 days holiday + bank holidays\\n\\n* Enhanced pension scheme\\n\\n* Perkbox benefits platform\\n\\n* Health & wellbeing cash plan (dental, optical, counselling, physio & more)\\n\\n* Life Assurance (2x salary)\\n\\n* Enhanced maternity pay after 1 year\\n\\n* Company sick pay\\n\\n* Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)\\n\\n* Regular training and development investment\\n\\n* Long service recognition awards\\n\\nLooking to Take the Next Step in Your HR Career?\\n\\nIf you're a strong HR Advisor ready to take on more ownership and expand your impact-or you're on the path toward becoming a full-fledged HR Business Partner-this is your springboard.\\n\\nApply now with your CV and a brief note highlighting why this opportunity speaks to you.\\n\\nPlease send your CV, quoting reference LX (phone number removed)
