Location: Northampton Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 + Bonus + Benefits (Including AAT, CIMA/ACCA Study Support) We are recruiting a Finance & Accounts Assistant for a leading financial services company experiencing rapid expansion. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative finance team, supporting sales reporting, reconciliations, and financial transactions while gaining valuable exposure to a thriving commercial environment. About the Role As a Finance & Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in financial reporting, data analysis, and transactional processing to support the company's continued growth. You will be responsible for sales reporting, accounts payable & receivable, income reconciliation, and financial administration. Working closely with senior stakeholders, this position offers excellent career development and study support for professional qualifications. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and update sales reporting and analysis to provide real-time financial insights. * Verify and reconcile lender commission payments. * Ensure accurate data entry into financial systems (Xero & CRM). * Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice management. * Assist with internal financial controls, audits, and reconciliation. * Provide insights to senior management on financial performance and trends. What We're Looking For We are seeking a highly numerate, detail-focused finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced business environment. The ideal candidate will have: Essential Skills & Experience: * Experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or sales reconciliations. * Strong/Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data management. * Previous experience in finance software (Xero or similar). * Excellent numerical and analytical ability. * A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. * Ambitious to progress further in our client's growing finance team Desirable Skills: * Knowledge of financial services or asset finance or similar regulated high monetary transactional environment. * Working towards a finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA). * Experience using Zoho CRM or financial reporting tools.
