The Role

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Delivering outstanding client service, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions with clear and proactive communication.
  • Supervising and mentoring support staff, fostering development within the team.
  • Actively contributing to business development, networking, and marketing initiatives to grow the firm’s reputation and client base.
  • Providing support to colleagues as required, particularly during absences.
  • Ensuring compliance with risk management procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Continuing professional development, staying up to date with legal and market trends.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Legal Qualifications – A Law Degree, LPC, or an equivalent technical qualification (CILEx or Licensed Conveyancer), though we also welcome applications from experienced conveyancers without formal qualifications.
  • Conveyancing Expertise – Experience in handling residential property matters, with the ability to manage files independently.
  • IT Proficiency – Experience using case management systems and confidence in working with digital workflows.
  • Strong Communication Skills – Clear and professional written and verbal communication, with a focus on excellent client care.
  • Drive & Ambition – A strong work ethic and a commitment to career progression.
  • Team Player Mentality – A collaborative and supportive approach, working effectively within a dynamic team.
