Are you passionate about making a difference? We’re on the lookout for an Employment Lawyer with at least 2 years' experience in employment law to join our award-winning, purpose-driven law firm. Martin Searle Solicitors has a strong national reputation for our employment law services and our equality work. We have been ranked for the 11th year running in the 2025 Legal 500 for Kent, Surrey, and Sussex as a Leading Firm. Our employment law team are known for running impactful campaigns, like Mind the Bump and Disability Matters, to help stamp out discrimination in the workplace through training and legal advice to both employers and employees.
This role is ideal for a specialist Employment Law solicitor or Legal Executive who wants to learn from our heavyweight employment law team, and who enjoys litigation, especially bringing and defending discrimination cases.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2+ years’ experience in employment law
- A solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive is a must, as you will be required to sign off Settlement Agreements
- Experience in handling discrimination and unfair dismissal cases
- Ability to carry out own advocacy to at least Case Management stage
- Attending our Brighton office for weekly team meetings
