The employer is a leading renewable energy specialist and electrical & mechanical contractors across technologies, delivering field-based utility scale installations generating and storing inexpensive clean green electricity to support the Grid transition away from fossil fuels.
As Solar Project Manager, you will ensure that all work is carried out to contract specifications with regard to the quality of work, timescales, and costs. You will plan and coordinate projects; have oversight on design and engineering; supply chain, budget, & financial management; supervision of construction and installation; quality control, compliance, health & safety, and environmental oversight; as well as client communication and post-installation support.
What you'll need:
- Previous project management experience within the solar PV industry
- Experience in reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes
- Previous exposure to H&S, budget and programme responsibility
- Qualified at HNC level; relevant industry training (SMSTS, CDM, IOSH)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with client, supply chain and employees
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to multi-task
- Full UK driving licence
Where you'll be based: The offices are based in Woodbridge, Suffolk, with projects based across East Anglia.
What you'll receive:
- £45,000 - £48,000 pa dependent on experience
- Company vehicle (truck)
