Based in Northern Ireland, with travel across the UK portfolio. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our extensive property portfolio across the UK and Ireland. This role involves direct liaison with our in-house maintenance team, coordination of third-party contractors, and oversight of external facility management companies. You will also play an active role in supporting ongoing development and refurbishment projects, ensuring design, compliance and operational considerations are built into each stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance, compliance and operational performance of a diverse property portfolio
  • Manage and support our in-house maintenance team to ensure works are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Coordinate third-party contractors and suppliers, ensuring value for money and quality of service
  • Review, assess and recommend FM tenders for properties across the UK
  • Provide input into refurbishment and development projects, from design through to completion
  • Implement best practice procedures for health & safety, statutory compliance, and planned maintenance
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections (some travel required)
  • Report directly to the Construction Directors

Requirements

  • Previous experience in facilities management or building maintenance across commercial or mixed-use property
  • Strong understanding of building systems, compliance and contractor management
  • Excellent communication, organisation and reporting skills
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required
  • FM or building services qualification

Location: Head office in Derry, with travel to sites across the UK and Ireland as required. Competitive remuneration package will be offered, negotiable depending on experience.
