RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCING PARALEGAL

Respected firm are looking for a Paralegal to provide a quality and comprehensive conveyancing service with a customer service focus. As part of an established team, you will have prior experience and knowledge of the entire Conveyancing process.

You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a similar role and be able to hit the ground running with variety of residential property matters, particularly in sales, purchases and remortgages.

Essential skills

  • Educated to degree level
  • Completed LPC or SQE 1
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • IT literate

Experience

  • Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases.
  • Re- Mortgages and re-finances including properties in companies.
  • Buy to Let (including Company) purchases and re-finances.
  • Registration including companies house and Land Registry.
  • Drafting and Filing of SDLT Returns.
  • Experience in drafting reports on title and reports on mortgage.
  • Dealing with replies to pre-contract enquiries.
  • Drafting lender standard documents (e.g. mortgage deeds/guarantees).
