The CNC Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting and brake press machines to produce high-quality parts that meet blueprint and work order specifications. The operator will read and interpret technical drawings, select and load appropriate materials, and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine quality inspections
- Troubleshooting machine issues
- Maintaining inventory of materials and tools
- Assisting with general machine maintenance
The position requires effective communication with team members and management to report progress, address issues, and ensure production goals are met. Safety is a top priority, and the operator must follow all safety protocols, report hazards or malfunctions, and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.
