Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about optimizing inventory management? We’re looking for a dedicated Inventory Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in ensuring we maintain accurate inventory levels by supporting the operations team. Position Summary: Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 10.5 hours per day, the successful candidate will support the core operational priorities by providing essential administrative support to the Stock and Administration team, ensuring accuracy and consistency to support the overall success and operational integrity of the business.

Key duties & responsibilities

  • Goods In: Acting as the first point of contact for inbound suppliers, handling calls, booking delivery appointments, and recording them accurately on the WMS. Control and coordinate supplier arrivals with site security and S.T.I, managing delays and resolving discrepancies between purchase orders and goods received. Ensuring quality standards are met by flagging rejections, damages, date issues, or stock rotation problems to QA promptly.
  • WM Administration: Support warehouse operations by running and monitoring waves in WMS, tracking progress through to completion. Proactively manage unallocated lines and out-of-stock issues, keeping Shift Management informed and resolving discrepancies before invoicing. Oversees load status from loading to closure, checking transactions with Transport Management to confirm all loads are complete and invoices released.

Qualifications

  • Good level of communication both internally and to external suppliers
  • GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Previous experience in a similar data entry, clerical or administration role
  • Enthusiastic and energetic, desire to be part of a cohesive team
