We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Customer Service Driver team at our new purpose-built distribution centre in Darlington.

Position Summary:

The Customer Service Driver plays a crucial role in our organisation by delivering products and services to customers with the highest level of professionalism and care. This position requires a commitment to excellent customer service, safe driving practices, and effective communication skills. The Customer Service Driver acts as a representative of our company, ensuring that every interaction with customers is positive and reflective of our values.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-departure vehicle checks before following the delivery schedule in a timely manner.
  • Report issues to the transport office and check temperatures along the way.
  • Unload the vehicle using the tail lift and get the relevant documentation signed by the restaurant.
  • When returning to site, clean the inside of the vehicle and refuel the unit and fridge unit before parking up as directed before de-briefing your shift manager.

Qualifications Required Skills:

  • Drivers CPC to be completed (Essential)
  • Experience of working with refrigerated vehicles (Desirable)
  • Understanding of EC drivers’ hours & EC working time directive regulations (Essential)
  • Class 1 HGV licence (Essential)
  • Previous experience (Desirable)
