Position Summary
Ensure all reverse logistics levels are maintained to a high standard and all work is carried out safely and efficiently, complying with ISO and AIB/DQMP standards and the Food Hygiene, Health and Safety Legislation within company procedures. Cover the Reverse Logistics and Hygiene Managers during absences.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and other staff at all times.
- Take control of the department when the manager is absent.
- Control yard operations including loading of pallets, cardboard and bun trays.
- Unload barrel trailers, palletise and reload full barrels, replenish empty barrels at gates for distribution.
- Coordinate with waste contractors, order trailer swaps via e-mail and ensure all paperwork is compliant with company policy and legal requirements.
- Keep waste stream logs updated by entering data into the computer.
- Maintain yard hygiene and support the site hygiene team when required.
Technical Competencies
- Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
- FLT experience essential.
- Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) experience desirable.
