In this vital role, you will play a key part in ensuring our products are returned, processed, and handled with the utmost care while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Job Summary: You will be required to work in all areas within the scope of the department, ensuring all recycling products are processed correctly following guidelines, maintaining high hygiene levels, and complying with AIB/DQMP standards, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety Legislation, and Company procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure hygiene processes are carried out correctly, recorded and completed within the allotted time and to the set standard.
  • Assist in improving hygiene procedures, working practices and working efficiencies.
  • Ensure all pest control procedures are followed and recorded effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments as required.
  • Use a variety of MHE as well as a ride‑on scrubbing machine and a scissor lift.
  • Work at heights and some heavy lifting will be involved.
  • Work in a multi‑temperature food storage environment.
  • Use knowledge of and actively promote AIB, DQMP and Workplace Organisation standards.
  • Complete all schedules in a timely manner and complete the associated paperwork.
  • Ensure all recycling products within the DC are packed and loaded correctly for delivery to designated customers.

Technical Competencies:

  • Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent) – Essential
  • Competent in Microsoft Office: Introduction to Excel and Word – Essential
  • Experience of MHE driving – Essential
  • Previous hygiene experience and working in a physically demanding multi‑temperature FMCG environment – Desirable
  • MEWP experience – Desirable
