Location: Darlington

Salary: £16.00 plus weekend, bank holiday and freezer allowances. Rising to £16.60 from 29th March 2026.

Position Summary:

To assist in the overall picking and despatch of customers’ orders ensuring that the correct products are supplied to our customer in a timely, effective and efficient manner. Working in a physically demanding multi-temperature FMCG environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Using voice technology, accurately picking and packing orders using the voice-picking system.
  • Efficiently loading and unloading vehicles in line with company procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
  • Meeting targets set by MBUK.
  • Communicating effectively with team leaders and shift managers.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Correctly checking in, storing, and replenishing stock to prevent damage and ensure appropriate stock levels.
  • Remaining adaptable and flexible in approach.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable. Calm under pressure, you will have a strong H&S awareness and be a great team player who likes to share ideas for improvement. With a good level of written and spoken English, you will have problem-solving skills. Experience of operating MHR is desirable as is previous experience of working in a physically demanding multi-temperature FMCG environment.
