Responsibilities
- Manage the day‑to‑day maintenance and operation of our distribution centre, ensuring facilities, building services, refrigeration systems, utilities, and plant equipment are maintained to a high standard.
- Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes and coordinate reactive maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Utilise CAFM systems to manage maintenance schedules, asset records, compliance documentation, and audit readiness.
- Develop strong partnerships with contractors and service providers, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, and in line with agreed standards.
- Collaborate with site leadership teams to deliver facilities improvements, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.
- Support compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legislative requirements while helping maintain a safe and welcoming workplace.

Qualifications
- You have experience leading facilities, maintenance, engineering, or technical services teams within a fast‑paced operational environment.
- You have a strong understanding of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, contractor management, and compliance requirements.
- You are experienced in overseeing building services, plant equipment, utilities, and maintenance systems within a complex operational site.
- You are comfortable using CAFM systems and maintenance performance data to support planning, compliance, and service delivery.
- You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and your attention to detail ensures high standards are consistently maintained.
- You are passionate about putting safety first and are keen to build an inclusive workplace.
- A Facilities Management, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or Health & Safety qualification (e. g., IOSH or NEBOSH) would be advantageous.
