About the Role
As a Quality Control (QC) Engineer , youll play a vital part in supporting our manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement, and helping us achieve zero defects across all aspects of quality and delivery.
Youll work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues, strengthen processes, and ensure every part meets the rigorous standards that define Martin-Baker.
Key Responsibilities
Support manufacturing by coordinating remedial and improvement activities to achieve zero defects.
Disposition reject parts and ensure specification and production requirements are met.
Resolve customer concerns using best-practice quality tools and root cause analysis.
Measure and report manufacturing performance using the Quality Scorecard.
Conduct spot checks and audits to assess process conformance and implement corrective actions.
Support reviews of production documentation including process specs, drawings, and test procedures.
Assist with external audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformances.
About You
Degree or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
Experience in aerospace, defence, or automotive manufacturing environments.
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 , AS9100 , or automotive quality standards.
Skilled in root cause analysis , corrective/preventative actions , and continuous improvement tools such as 8D, Lean, and Six Sigma.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence, collaborate, and drive change across teams.
Analytical and methodical approach, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
