We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design and development of safety‑critical aerospace equipment, supporting products that have saved over 7,800 lives worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce innovative mechanical design solutions for new and existing products.
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
  • Support products throughout the full engineering lifecycle, from concept through to production and in‑service support.
  • Conduct engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design investigations.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Stress Analysis, Test, and Production teams to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and cost requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
  • Support prototype builds, qualification testing, and product validation activities.
  • Investigate design issues and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.

About You

  • We are looking for a proactive and motivated engineer with a passion for design and problem‑solving.
  • You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment and be comfortable contributing to technically challenging projects.
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in mechanical design within an engineering environment.
