Join us as an Inspector in the Detail Inspection department at our Denham site where you’ll undertake a variety of processes for product verification of parts and components, ensuring that all inspection activities are delivered efficiently.

The Opportunity

To carry out testing/ inspection of components using a variety of processes and techniques in accordance with Quality Assurance Instructions and or technical specifications / documents.

This is an onsite role based at our Denham site.

  • What You’ll Do
  • To generate, maintain inspection documentation in accordance with the relevant Company Quality Assurance policy.
  • To be conversant with and employ appropriate techniques as specified on the job cards relevant to specific components Create, test, validate and maintain inspection programmes for CNC contour tracers, vision machines and other automated or semi-automated metrology systems
  • To handle materials, goods and components appropriately to comply with safety regulations and handling / machining instructions
  • Accurately interpret component drawings/test procedures and relevant information so that, part numbers, drawing issues, relevant ADR’s, process specification and surface finishes can be accurately identified and applied).
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Relevant Inspection experience and of using inspection tools, hand tools and equipment.
  • Numeracy and geometry skills.
  • Broad experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • General work background in manufacturing / engineering.
  • Experience of using CMM (or equivalent) and other mechanical / electronic measuring/visual measuring aids desirable.
  • Share and demonstrate the Martin-Baker values.
