Join Martin-Baker, the world leader in ejection seat technology, and play a hands‑on role in producing components that help save aircrew lives. We’re looking for a skilled Deburring Machine Operator to support our Machine Shop in delivering high-quality, precision‑engineered parts.
Hours: 37 per week (Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00, Fri 08:00–12:00)
The Role
You’ll carry out deburring and manual machining operations, working to technical drawings and strict quality standards. Responsibilities include:
- Deburring components using machinery and hand tools
- Setting and operating manual machines
- Completing quality checks before inspection
- Following job cards, SOPs, and safety procedures
- Supporting 5S and continuous improvement activities
- Maintaining good housekeeping and safe working practices
What You’ll Bring
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Basic PC skills
- Experience with manual milling, broaching, or grinding (desirable)
- CNC experience (advantageous)
