The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work collaboratively as part of the USRM department to produce lifesaving equipment.
This is an onsite role based at our Chalgrove site.
What You’ll Do
- Fully set and operate new technology 5 axis, 4 axis CNC milling machines.
- Fully set and operate new technology multi turret CNC lathes.
- Fully set and operate new technology CNC machine tools in a cellular environment.
- Forward plan and load plan for day machine production and unmanned machine production in a 24/7 cellular CNC machining environment.
- Hand deburr and fettle detail components.
- Inspection of components.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to read and understand CNC programmes using machine interface.
- Ability to read, understand and fully interpret component drawings, including detail, assembly and finishing process drawings.
- Ability to inspect and use pressure checking, magnetic particle inspection equipment and paint finishing inspection techniques.
- Developed cutting tool and material cutting knowledge.
- Ability to understand CNC programme code and operation
- Basic PC and SAP skills.
- Share and demonstrate the Martin-Baker values.
