What You’ll Be Doing

Join us on this mission as a Training Partner in our Academy where you’ll develop and implement training programmes to meet the skill requirements of various departments and functions across our business.

Aspects Of The Role Include:

  • Creation, development & delivery of training programmes that complement the skill requirements of each department and continuously educate to develop and maintain their required competence levels.
  • Identification of applicable training courses that are required to educate specific skill requirements.
  • Completion of required documentation following training to ensure employee records are represented accurately.
  • Development of courses/training material to company Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Adoption of different training styles to meet the needs of the audience, considering both classroom and on the job training.
  • Co-Ordination of external training activities with Technical Training Management.
  • Supporting the Companywide Competency Management System strategy.
  • STEM support for early careers opportunities, both internal and external.

Characteristics & Skills:

  • Experience of training and developing people.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
  • Experience of manufacturing processes in the Aerospace / Defence / Automotive industry.
  • General Inspection / Quality Control Skills would be advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of MBA products would be desirable.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Engineering related Apprenticeship (NVQ level 3) or an HNC / HND of similar origin.
