What You’ll Be Doing
Join us on this mission as a Logistics Operative working in the Stores Department at our Chalgrove site. You’ll be preparing, packing and labelling products and components for transport internally and to new and existing customers and suppliers, whilst undertaking multi-skilled duties within Stores. This role will operate on a 37‑hour basis for the first 6 months during probation and then transition to a shift basis of 4 on 4 off from 07:00 to 16:30.
Aspects Of The Role Include:
- Picking both pyro and hardware as per pick lists using Kardex machines.
- Booking in of all delivered goods to the site on SAP as appropriate.
- Delivering materials (hardware and pyro) to process rooms.
- To undertake regular stock checks on hardware and pyro.
- Palletising and labelling the requisite check documentation (such as Dangerous Goods, ADR driver check) to enable the shipping of explosive assemblies.
- To assist the management of the stores and explosive magazines in line with 5S principles.
