We are looking for a self-employed contractor with use of their own van(s) to carry out delivery in the BR postcode. As an independent contractor, you will have full flexibility to accept or decline work as it becomes available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, good communication, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading items.

This is a paid position suitable for individuals committed to providing exceptional service while maintaining safety standards. This is not an employed or salaried position. Your income will depend on the number of stops completed.

When you accept jobs your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Complete multi-drop courier routes
  • Load and unload parcels safely
  • Use navigation tools to complete routes efficiently

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with Martin & Martin and/or customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
  • Follow company policies to ensure safety at all times.
  • Represent the Martin & Martin brand when completing the accepted job.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements to contract with us:

  • Full UK driving licence (up to 3 points acceptable)
  • Must live in the BR postcode or close to the area.
  • A suitable vehicle (or access to one appropriate for the work)
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or maps and adapt to changing routes or schedules.
  • Physical fitness to manage loading/unloading tasks involving heavy items.
  • Reliable, punctual, organised, and committed to safety standards at all times.
