Responsibilities:
- Communicate organisation's products and services;
- Contract review and negotiation;
- Prepare and manage the proposals from inception through to tender award and contract close;
- Define the technical specifications of the proposals, taking into account client and Martifer requirements;
- Promote the integration of ecological and sustainable principles and materials when preparing new proposals;
- Ensuring the efficient transition from business proposal to the Project Management Department;
- Promote Business Development and develop a plan that meets the company goals and objectives;
- Contributing to the definition of Business Continuous Plan.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience in construction, engineering or a related discipline;
- English level needed is typically B2 (Intermediate) or above;
- Proven experience in a pre-construction, bid management or development role within the UK construction market;
- Competence in use of industry-standard tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD;
- Strong client-facing and communication skills;
- Good knowledge of procurement routes and supply chains;
- Strong understanding of steelwork, facade aluminium and glazing work and/or complex building and infrastructure projects;
- Sound commercial awareness, including cost planning, risk management and contract fundamentals.
