An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaged and committed Science and Mathematics Teacher to join our College community on a full time, fixed term basis. This role is a leave replacement position for Term 3, 2026. Reporting to the Head of Learning - Science and the Head of Learning - Mathematics, this role will be responsible for teaching Science and Mathematics subjects across Years 7 to 9 in a collaborative and progressive environment.

You will work alongside committed educators who value high-quality teaching practice and continuous professional growth and enjoy access to modern teaching spaces and resources.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education.
  • Current VIT Registration.
  • A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Science and Mathematics).
  • Previous experience teaching Science and Mathematics subjects across years 7 to 9 (preferred but not essential).
  • Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
  • Well‑developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
  • Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
  • Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.

A letter of introduction addressed to the Principal and a resume, including at least 2 professional referees, are required.
