Position Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective relationship-building skills by increasing deposit solutions, proactively identifying customer needs, and generating interest in relevant solutions and services through referrals.
  • Perform transactions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Provide friendly, yet professional customer service to both external and internal customers.
  • Handle all aspects of teller transactions, including checking and savings transactions, loan payments, account inquiries and research, issuing official checks and money orders.
  • Check night depository bags and record proper information on the bank\’s forms.
  • Perform duties necessary to service Safe Deposit Boxes.
  • Possibly perform daily balancing of the coin machine.
  • Efficiently perform end-of-day teller balancing and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure the office and workstations are prepared for the workday.
  • Represent the Bank professionally and uphold its values in all interactions.

Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Windows, Word, Excel).
  • High attention to detail and a positive attitude focused on customer service.

Physical & Environmental Aspects

  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
  • Work primarily performed in an office environment with frequent travel to customer locations.
  • May operate office equipment and use a personal vehicle for client visits, possibly in customers\’ residences.
