Martham Academy and Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic midday supervisory assistant to join our existing team. The position is part-time, requiring 6.25 hours per week from 11.50am to 1.05pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only. The salary is B3 (£13.28 per hour), with an actual salary of £3,610 per annum pro rata.
We are looking for someone who will be proactive in organising playground games and supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground areas, and school premises. Other associated duties may include cleaning up spillages and ensuring tables are clean.
In addition, we require someone who:
- Has the ability to play with children and develop their social skills
- Can work on their own initiative
- Can relate well with children
- Can promote positive behaviour of pupils
- Understands the need to supervise children closely and safely
