On behalf of one of our clients we’re looking for a skilled and proactive Proposal Manager to lead the development of high-quality, customer-focused responses to RFPs and RFIs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, and has a passion for creating compelling, strategic content. This is a FTC, covering for maternity leave, with the high probability that there will be a permanent position at the end as they are already talking about the need for another head in the team. Hybrid role 2 days/week in London office, 3 days/week wfh.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the creation of detailed, competitive, and customer-centric proposal responses.
  • Organise and facilitate proposal kickoff calls, review sessions, and collaborative meetings.
  • Review RFx documents and ensure all responses are compliant, accurate, and aligned with client requirements.
  • Coordinate input from sales, marketing, technical, and corporate teams across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Maintain and update the corporate knowledge database to ensure easy access to up-to-date, reusable proposal content.
  • Continuously develop your understanding of our solutions through regular training and team collaboration.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in proposal management, technical writing, marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills; comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and RFP management tools (e.g., Responsive) is a plus.
  • Skilled in MS Word styles/templates, and proficient with Excel, PDF, and other Office applications.
  • APMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Public Sector would be great but not essential.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or another writing-intensive field.
