An exciting opportunity! We’re looking for a CAD Designer to join our growing team—ideal for furniture, product design, CAD graduates or those early in their design careers.

Martek is a renowned specialist in interior fit-out, with nearly 45 years of experience designing, manufacturing, and installing high-end bespoke interiors, internationally. Operating across various sectors, including prime residential, commercial, cinema retail, healthcare, education, and hospitality, Martek delivers exceptional nationally recognised quality and craftsmanship. Based in South London near Croydon, Martek services projects nationwide and across Europe. As a one-stop shop, Martek has integrated concept development, design, manufacturing, logistics, project management, and installation under one roof.

Role

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our facility near Croydon for a CAD Designer. You’ll support the design team in taking projects from concept through to manufacture and installation, working closely with project managers and production teams. You will be responsible for creating and developing detailed technical drawings and design layouts using advanced CAD software. Day-to-day tasks include producing construction drawings, collaborating with design and project management and production teams, and ensuring all designs meet required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings for manufacture
  • Create accurate production and assembly drawings
  • Support CNC and CAD/CAM manufacturing processes
  • Liaise with project and production teams
  • Assist with site and installation requirements

About You

  • Degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, CAD, or similar
  • Experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Practical, proactive, and keen to learn
